GLASGOW PECHA KUCHA: PRINCE WILLIAM'S SMILE

I have just come back from a hilarious visit to Glasgow, during which I spoke at a Pecha Kucha session hosted by the Glasgow School of Art's Students' Union.  (Pecha Kucha is a lecture format in which a number of speakers have a limited time to describe a project of theirs.  Each speaker is limited to 20 slides which are on the screen for 20 seconds each).
I chose to speak about the Prince William's Smile project, which vigilant watchers of my website might remember I started soon after that gentleman's wedding.  When I looked at the wedding photo my daughter Hannah had put on her mantlepiece I noticed what a strange smile William has.  I wondered if it was physically possible for me to have a smile like that too, so I set about trying to do it.

You can see more images from the project on my website at http://thomgorst.com/Thom_Gorst/Prince_William.html

Please be warned: there are risks involved with surgery on the self.  Seek professional advice.

Thanks to Anwen Regan for the image of the Pecha Kucha.
