We are just back from the Isle of Lundy, where we spent a jolly but meteorologically stormy week. Although our helicopter flight out was delayed by a day, I was delighted that the old man in the red suit did make it at the appointed time.
... and here is an outrageous claim that I make here in public for refutation: I am the first person ever to have played the concertina at the top of the Old Lighthouse on Lundy. I had a small (and, believe it or not, appreciative) audience on both days that I played. The acoustics were fantastic, and the views out to the Atlantic were just sublime.
I will, of course, defer to any claims to have preceded me, if backed up by photographic evidence!
